Guam - The Tagada Guam Amusement Park is set to hold its grand opening ceremony this Thursday with an opening for public the following day. According to chief operations officer Mark Day, the theme park was inspected by the Guam Fire Department last week and should be receiving its certificate of occupancy today from the Department of Public Works.

The park features a huge swing called The Viking, bumper cars and a gravity-defying ride called The Tagada. Admission to the park is free with costs for the rides below $10 - but a membership program is available for locals inclusive of discounts. The park opens on Friday from 4pm to midnight and is located in Tumon between Pacific Place and the Bayview Hotel.
