Guam - A magistrate's complaint against Police Officer Trainee Jessie Gogo III detail alleged physical abuse he inflicted upon a woman known to him. According to court documents, on January 1, Gogo allegedly took his duty weapon and held it out, not pointing it at anyone but told the woman not to call her sister to their home.
On January 10, the woman claims Gogo used his knee to hit her right thigh area causing a bruise. The woman told police that she told Gogo she was going to leave him. As she turned to leave him, Gogo allegedly grabbed both her arms, threw her onto the bed and used his forearm to strangle her. Gogo was charged with three counts of assault and three counts of family violence.
An internal affairs investigation is underway into the trainee's arrest. Gogo was assigned to the Hagatna Precinct Command.
