Illegal school fails sanitary inspection
by Krystal Paco
Guam - Providence International Christian Academy in Tamuning continues to operate without proper permitting from the island's various regulatory agencies. According to Department of Public Health environmental health specialist Marilou Bumagat, the school failed sanitary inspection today.
The school was cited for having a family living in upstairs quarters, lack of urinals, dark paint in the ladies' restroom, and a sliding entrance door. The school must correct the deficiencies before agency inspectors can revisit.
A notice was sent to owners Pastor William and Paula Schmidt for failure to obtain the sanitary permit and the Attorney General's Office has been notified for further action.
