Guam - Senator Judi Guthertz has written to President Barack Obama, asking for his assistance in getting some movement on the military buildup in light of significant cuts to military construction projects that were slated for Guam.  The Democrat lawmaker also sought Obama's assistance in getting china approved for the Guam visa waiver program to help boost the economy.

Guthertz asked the president to advocate his support for the program, saying Chinese visitors shouldn't be considered a threat to the military installations on the island.
