Guam - Should individuals who are receiving public assistance be required to submit to drug testing? It's a question that lawmakers have posed to the community. On Wednesday the Legislative Health and Human Services Committee will hear public comments on Senator Sam Mabini's Bill 317 that seeks to require drug testing for those applying and receiving public assistance.
The committee will also hear testimony on Senator Judi Guthertz's Bill 361 that would provide enhance the registration process of the Guam Decolonization Registry by enlisting the assistance of government employees in all three branches of government and island mayors.
The public hearing is scheduled for December 14 at 8:30am at the Legislature.
