Guam - The Guam Police Department's highway patrol division will be conducting various enforcement activities this month. GPD spokesperson officer AJ Balajadia says patrol officers will be both stationary and roving the island's major roadways focusing on seat-belt, reckless driving, imprudent driving, drugged and drunk driving violations. He says this is an effort to encourage the public to comply with the highway laws, and to decrease traffic related fatalities and serious injuries. 

Officers will conduct seat-belt child occupant passenger enforcement through September 23rd, counter drug DUI saturation patrol from on the 23rd and 24th, and Operation click it or ticket from the 26th to the 30th.
