Guam - This morning's special legislative session called by Governor Eddie Calvo to discuss a new budget bill he sent to lawmakers Thursday afternoon, was recessed until one o'clock this afternoon. On the floor Senator Rory Respicio said he along with concurrence from his colleagues agreed that it be better to delay session until this afternoon because several senators were stuck in traffic as a result of severe flooding and bridges that are impassible due to the heavy downpour Guam is currently experiencing. The Governor called lawmakers into special session yesterday after he vetoed the SB145 or the proposed FY2012 budget passed by 8 democrats.
