Sex offender's appeal denied by Supreme Court

Guam - A convicted sex offender lost his appeal to the Guam Supreme Court. Arnold Blanco Kitano was convicted in 2009 of 1st and 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct and was sentenced to life behind bars without the possibility of parole. Kitano appealed the conviction, claiming the prosecution failed to timely disclose a police report and that he wasn't able to confront his accusers and cross examine each of the government's witnesses.
The Supreme Court affirmed the Superior Court's judgment and found that Kitano's due process rights were not violated.
