Chagui'an massacre victims remembered

The memorial service included a wreath laying service in honor of the men and boys along with one woman who were brutally murdered during the Japanese occupation.

Guam - 45 victims were remembered at the Chagui'an massacre site this morning in Yigo. The memorial service included a wreath laying service in honor of the men and boys along with one woman who were brutally murdered during the Japanese occupation.

80-year-old Tamuning resident and World War II survivor Tony Palomo, "It's great that everyday we get together during the month of July to commemorate what happened to us many, many years ago."

Local historian Tony Ramirez gave remarks at the ceremony embracing today's rain as "Tears From Heaven" in memory of the fallen.
