Jonathan Santos pleads not guilty to burglary

A 22-year-old man accused of breaking into the maintenance building at Veterans Cemetery pleaded not guilty in the Superior Court during an arraignment hearing this afternoon.

Guam - A 22-year-old man accused of breaking into the maintenance building at Veterans Cemetery pleaded not guilty in the Superior Court during an arraignment hearing this afternoon. Jonathan Santos is accused of climbing through an open air conditioning duct to gain access to the building so he could steal an ATV mule, bushcutters, blowers and other items valued at more than $20,000. 

Santos is charged with theft of property and burglary. He waived his right to a speedy trial and will find out when he will go to trial on august 5.
