Guam - While today may mark the official 4th of July holiday, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the District Court will celebrate the holiday with a special naturalization ceremony on Tuesday. Nearly 50 candidates will be given the oath and become new United Stated citizens.

Joint Region Marianas Commander Rear Admiral Paul Bushong is the guest speaker who will welcome the new citizens. The annual celebration of Independence Day will result in nearly 2,300 people becoming us citizens in 30 ceremonies across the nation, including the one on Guam to be held tomorrow morning at the District Court.
