Police believe teen behind armed robberies

Guam - Police believe a 16-year-old male minor was responsible for three armed robberies. The minor is confined at the Department of Youth Affairs charged with three counts of robbery, conspiracy, unsworn falsification, curfew violation and burglary.
His guardians, Josephine Fernandez Aguero Castro and Eddie Gumataotao Castro, both of Chalan Pago, were arrested on numerous charges to include theft by receiving stolen property, hindering apprehension, and child abuse. The arrests follow the robbery task force's arrest of Derek James Santos, who admitted to driving the minor to the robberies at the mermaid tavern and Ebeneezer Store.
Police say the teen also allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint at the Club High 57 in Maite.
