Guam - Lawmakers will consider public testimony later this week on a bill that would prohibit vehicle passengers from riding in the bed of a pickup truck. Bill 60 was introduced by republican Mana Silva Taijeron, who said pickup truck beds were meant to transport cargo, not people.

If passed, the bill would make it illegal to ride in the back of a pickup truck. The hearing will be held on Friday beginning at 2:30pm at the Legislature's Public Hearing Room in Hagatna.
