Fred Bordallo sworn-in as police chief

Guam - Promising a better police department, Captain Fred Bordallo was sworn-in as the chief of the Guam Police Department. With family, friends, his leadership staff the Superior Court Judge Michael Bordallo gave the Oath of Office to the island's new top cop.
Bordallo said, "I...solemnly swear that I will faithfully support the Constitution of the United States, the laws of the U.S. applicable to Guam and the laws of Guam." Bordallo said of his plans for the agency, "We want to step up to the plate to reduce traffic fatalities, we also want to attend to the victims who lose their property because of property crimes, or. Are a victim of violence, we want to make Guam a peaceful place."
Bordallo was also pinned with the four stars that represent the highest rank in the department. He has 25 years of service in GPD.
