Guam - Former police officer Troy Morrison is scheduled to appear in court today for his criminal trial setting. During court proceedings last week Morrison asserted his right to a speedy trial, meaning means efforts to take his case to trial are now fast-tracked.

He pleaded not guilty to criminal charges of family violence, stalking, child abuse and violation of a court order.
