Guam - The Salvation Army received a hefty donation from the folks at GTA TeleGuam today. The company donated 2,600 lbs. of canned goods-all received from customers and employees.

Executive Vice President of People, Marie Mesa, says during the holiday season the company put together their annual food drive. Mesa says they even waived activation fees for those customers who brought in five canned goods. "Of course, it pays for itself. You come in and get a nice little discount and also get the activation taken care of so it works for us and definitely works for our customers," she said.

Mesa adds the company surpassed last year's donation of 1,800 pounds of canned goods.
