Guam - The investigation continues into the death of two individuals involved in the New Year's Day crash that occurred in East Hagatna. Five people total were transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital after a head-on collision early Sunday morning involving two pickup trucks.

Guam Police Department Highway Patrol Officer Ed Perez tells KUAM News that they still have to interview the drivers as well as meet with the victims' families before confirming their identities. He says speed and alcohol are being looked into as factors in the crash. Perez also urges anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact GPD or Guam Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
