Guam - The Guam Medical Association believes the continuing shortage of basic medicines and clinical supplies at GMH has put the health and safety of island resident in imminent danger. That's just one of the points they're making in the organization's resolution declaring a state of emergency at the hospital.

The declaration further stated the ability of physicians in Guam to safely care for their patients is being threatened by a poorly equipped hospital. The GMA is urging the Governor and Governor-elect Eddie Calvo to immediately secure funding for GMH.
