Guam - Government employees in Saipan can now breathe a sign of relief, this after Governor Benigno Fitial signed House Bill 17-123. The budget bill brings an end to the partial government shut down that left over 1,400 employees without work since October 1.

Although signed into law, Fitial pointed out some serious concerns in the appropriation measure that requires legislative attention, but he says it was approved to restore normalcy into government operations.
