17 beaches off limits this weekend
If you plan to hit the beaches this weekend, keep in mind that the Guam Environmental Protection Agency has deemed numerous beaches as polluted.

By KUAM NewsGuam - If you plan to hit the beaches this weekend, keep in mind that the Guam Environmental Protection Agency has deemed numerous beaches as polluted. 17 in all, they include Dungca's Beach, East Hagatna Bay, Alupang Towers Beach, Adelup Beach Park, Bangi Beach, Nimitz Beach, Umatac Bay and Merizo Pier.
Swimming and fishing in these waters could cause illnesses such as sore throat and diarrhea.
