Guam - 9-year-old Kaimana McCreadie is a straight-A student who trains in wrestling, jiu-jitsu and mui thai. McCreadie is trained by Bao Quach, Giva Santa his father Brian McCreadie, Bobby Williams and all of Team Oyama in Irvine, California. Kaimana has big dreams of one day becoming a world champion in mixed martial arts. He recently took home 2 gold medals in Jiu-Jitsu and has never lost in his division, from 60-69 pounds and has even beat kids as big as 100 pounds.

"I went up against 3 kids and I went up 2 ages and 15 pounds and I got 2 gold medals. My first match I took the kid down and he turned his back to me and I went for the rear naked choke and then he tapped out. The second match I put the kid to sleep with a mounted triangle," he said.

Kaimana trains with state champions like Christian Claudio, whose mother is from Guam, national and best wrestler in the country at 75 pounds and for 11-year-olds Cade Olivas, 14-year-old Pan-American and World BJJ Champion Betsy Do, the Paterson brothers and the Cloister twins. Here he's shown with Chris Cyborg who is the female MMA champion holding her belt. Kaimana sports a special Gi representing the islands and wearing them proudly.

He said, "They ask me where I'm from a lot and I say Guam because I like Guam a lot and the flags on there are the American Flag, the Philippine Flag and the Guam Flag and it says '5-Star' on it because that's my sponsor."  Young Kaimana has a bright future in front of him with access to the best in the business. McCreadie is a humble kid who knows the definition of hard work and sacrifice in order to a contender in any sport.

"I love it when I'm on the mat and it's just so fun to compete and get a medal. I take the win and I take the loss, I don't cry and if I lose I just shake the guys hand and say good job," he said.
