Afternoon quake hits 5.5 on Richter Scale

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, <a href="http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/pt10191000.php">the quake measured at 5.9 on the Richter Scale</a> and occurred 75 miles northeast from Hagatna, and 73 miles south of Saipan.

Guam - Did you feel the ground shake this afternoon? Well, Guam residents most certainly did, as they experienced a sudden earthquake at 3:39pm this afternoon. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake initially measured 5.9 on the Richter Scale, and was later downgraded to 5.5. 

The seismic event occurred 75 miles northeast from Hagatna, and 73 miles south of Saipan.
