Pangelinan challenges Navy's sincerity

Guam - Senator Ben Pangelinan wants the Department of Defense plans to ensure the president's "One Guam, Green Guam" concept is more than just lip service.  In a letter to Assistant Secretary of the Navy Jackalyne Pfannenstiel, the lawmaker questions the Navy's sincerity, citing errors in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement and the lack of solutions presented to mitigate the burden to Guam.

Senator Pangelinan stressed that Guam is "more than a strategic rock in the pacific to be used and abused by the DoD".
