Guam - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking public comments on a draft revised recovery plan for the threatened Mariana Fruit Bat, or Fanihi. Meetings will be held in Saipan, Rota, and Guam next week to provide details about the plan that will address the immediate management of the species to reduce threats and stabilize the existing population. 

The meeting on Guam will be held on June 4 at the University of Guam's College of Agriculture, Life Science Building Room 127 from 6-8pm. The public comment period closes on June 28.
