Guam - A local company called Automated Energy Systems is educating the military and the Government of Guam on how to think green. AES Sales Manager Luis Ting says they are teaching the community about their products so that there could be less use of mercury products on the island.
He adds that their products cost more than your average light bulb, but saves you big bucks in the long run. Ting told KUAM News, "For every one light bulb changes for our induction lighting, you have to change five times, so you're looking at cost savings and maintenance and energy savings all in one."
