Guam - Lawmakers hit the voting file this afternoon and majority vote passed a resolution essentially aiming to promote a fair and competitive telecommunications landscape on Guam.  IT&E has applied for a second phase of stimulus broadband funding to the tune of $89,000,000.

GTA TeleGuam plans to file an appeal to the feds, saying the grant is not unnecessary.  The Legislature's passage of the resolution asks that if a grant is approved, then equal funding should be provided to local telecom competitors.
