The University of Guam is celebrating Earth Day today. There's a solar and wind power generation demonstration, a display on the importance of coconut trees to Guam, a rain catchment display, as well as interactive games and a battery collection.

The event is being held at the Student Center Rotunda at the Mangilao campus until 3 this afternoon..
And tonight, residents are invited to join Dr. Mohammad Golabi and his agriculture students as they present "Dirt - The Movie". The viewing will be at the Class Lecture Hall at 5pm tonight. And best of all - it's free!
