First day of business for Island Cancer Center

Today marks the official first day of business for the Island Cancer Center, which is the only local facility to provide radiation therapy since Supertyphoon Pongsona destroyed the only machine providing such treatment back in 2002.

Guam - Today marks the official first day of business for the Island Cancer Center, which is the only local facility to provide radiation therapy since Supertyphoon Pongsona destroyed the only machine providing such treatment back in 2002. The Island Cancer Center is an expansion of Guam Surgicenter, and was over a year in development. 

The facility is located in the Guam Medical Plaza in Tamuning.
