Ex-cop Morrison to seek diversion

Guam - Former police officer Troy Morrison is scheduled to appear in the Superior Court this afternoon to ask for diversion.  Morrison, who was terminated from the force, pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and family violence.  Diversion essentially allows a defendant to go through court order classes such as anger management courses for a certain period of time in exchange for the charges being thrown out. 

Morrison will make his request this afternoon.
