GUAM - The Department of Agriculture is waiting on permission from landowners before relocating up to 200 endangered tree snails from the Ylig Bridge.

Department of Agriculture aquatics and wildlife biologist Brent Tibbats says the snails will be moved to government and private land across the street from the bridge as the conditions are similar to the location of the current colony.

The endangered tree snails were discovered when the government began preparing to make renovations to the bridge that is critical for access to the new landfill at Layon.
