Session was filled with talk on a measure that would assist the Department of Public Health with its lack of resources when it comes to making health and safety inspections.  Senator Tom Ada says the bill would definitely assist with the lack of inspections throughout the island, including massage parlors.

"The department could also have them perform other inspections that it deems necessary as it relates to workforce housing," the Democrat policymaker explained.  "For example, if we find that the incidents of sexually transmitted diseases are on the increase in the labor camps, then at that time the department should be asking questions."
