Husband arrested on suspicion of murder after wife found with over 50 stab wounds

Vince Edward Santos Yatar has been arrested for the murder of his wife, Diana Rose Lagman, who was found with over 50 stab wounds.
GPD received a report of an injured male at a Sinajana gas station on July 13. Officers arrived to find blood in the parking lot—but no victim. It wasn’t until later that Yatar walked into GPD’s Central Precinct. He told officers there was an injured woman in a vehicle parked outside. Inside the car, police found Lagman unresponsive with multiple visible injuries.
She was later identified as Yatar’s wife. An autopsy confirmed she suffered more than 50 stab wounds. Her death was ruled a homicide by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Kenny Su.
Yatar was treated at Guam Memorial Hospital and then booked and confined on July 14. Charges include murder, aggravated assault, family violence, and use of a deadly weapon in a felony.
