Adacao Elementary School receives six-year accreditation status through 2031

The Guam Department of Education is proud to announce that Adacao Elementary School has received another six years on its accreditation status.
The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges announced the action taken at the Summer 2025 Commission Meeting.
According to ASC WASC the accreditation status is based on all of the information provided by the school, including the school’s report, and the satisfactory completion of the accreditation visit.
A mid-cycle visit is scheduled for the school year 2027-2028.
AES is required to prepare a report for the mid-cycle visit which includes addressed growth areas for continuous improvement through schoolwide action plan, appropriate progress on implementation of the schoolwide action plan, and improved student achievement relative to the schoolwide learner outcomes and the academic standards.
The Commission looks forward to Adacao Elementary School’s Anticipated success and continuing improvement in keeping with ACS WASC’s pursuit of excellence in elementary, secondary, and adult education.
