The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Oliver Henry is back in Guam after a three-week patrol that strengthened security and built community ties in the region.

The Oliver Henry returned to Guam on June 16 after a 22-day patrol across the U.S. exclusive economic zone around Guam and the CNMI.

The mission included law enforcement, training, and four commercial vessel security boardings, with support from forces Micronesia/Sector Guam.

The patrol also marked a historic first, the cutter’s first-ever mooring in Rota. There, the crew welcomed local youth and public safety officers aboard, strengthening ties with CNMI partners.

Crew members completed multiple training exercises and earned a 94% readiness score through post-patrol evaluations.

The Coast Guard says these efforts demonstrate their commitment to security, partnership, and presence in the region.
