Man arrested for illegal possession of a controlled substance

Guam police have taken Allan Joseph Mesa into custody following an early morning traffic stop on Route 28. Officers say they pulled Mesa over just after 3:30 a.m. Thursday and with his consent, searched his vehicle.
What they allegedly found was over 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with packaging materials, suggesting possible distribution.
Mesa now faces multiple charges, including illegal possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing or delivering a schedule I, II, or III drug.
He's been booked and confined to the Department of Corrections. The case has since been forwarded to the attorney general’s office for review.
