Man found hiding under pile of clothes charged with burglary

A man caught hiding under clothes in a Tumon home had an unusual excuse for the police. He said he was just looking for diapers.
Thirty-nine-year-old Jeromie Ross Mariano was arrested early Sunday morning after officers responded to a possible break-in.
Court documents state police found the front door open, the sliding glass door shattered, and the home in complete disarray.
During their search, they discovered Mariano hiding beneath a pile of clothes. He first gave a fake name.
Mariano told police he broke in because he was looking for diapers. He's now charged with burglary, trespassing, and criminal mischief.
