Man working at Camp Blaz arrested with meth

A contractor working at Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz is facing serious drug charges after suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found during a routine vehicle inspection. Authorities say 45-year-old Ryan C. Capati was stopped at the base gate Saturday night around 8:30, when a random search of his construction vehicle uncovered multiple bags of suspected meth, glass pipes, and cash.
The Naval Criminal Investigative Service declined to take the case—prompting Guam Police to step in. Capati now faces a third-degree felony charge for drug possession.
