High school students can now register for GCC’s Career and Technical Education Summer program

Guam’s high school students can learn a trade skill and earn elective credits through the Guam Community College free Career & Technical Education Summer Program starting June 16 through July 18, 2025.
The program will run from 8 a.m. to 12 noon Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
All high school students from Public, Charter, and Private schools can join the CTE Summer Program. The programs offered are:
- Automotive
- Construction Trades
- Culinary/Food Service Management
- Early Childhood Education
- Hospitality & Tourism
- Information Technology (IT)
- Intro to Criminal Justice
- Maritime Academy
- Visual Communications
Students who successfully complete the program will earn high school elective credits toward their high school graduation.
Additionally, recent high school graduates that participate in this program will earn college credits that can be applied toward their degree, through GCC’s postsecondary programs.
Along with the eight programs that GCC offers during the summer session, we have partnered with the Western Pacific Maritime Academy (WPMA), to offer training opportunities for anyone interested in a career in the maritime industry.
