Regal Saipan is calling on the community to keep its theater clean when they watch a movie.

In a social media post on Wednesday, the company showed photos of food and drinks scattered on the theater's floor and even one chair damaged by a movie-goer.

"Parents, please talk to your kids. Friends, please call out your friends and ask them to stop if they're acting like this," the company wrote on Facebook. "Guests shouldn't have to deal with rowdy, disrespectful individuals."

Regal Saipan said that residents should be able to enjoy a night out in a safe and peaceful environment.

"Our team shouldn't have to deal with trashed auditoriums. No business should have to deal with this kind of mess. Such disrespect and complete disregard for private property and a space that's meant to be shared with the community. But if we, as a collective whole, can teach each other to be better humans, we wouldn't have to worry about these kinds of instances. This is disheartening, upsetting, and frustrating to say the least. Please be better," they said.

In an update posted to their Facebook Thursday, Regal Saipan apologized to the audience impacted by the behavior.

"We're very sorry that your experience was ruined by selfish individuals. We appreciate those who have reached out to let us know what happened and sincerely are grateful for your patience," they said, "These issues have been addressed with our team, and we're working towards making improvements in hopes that we can avoid a repeat of last night."
