Two men are facing federal drug charges.

The indictment handed down against the two was recently unsealed in the District Court of Guam. 

Francisco Herrera Salas and Joseph Mesa Babauta are each charged with attempted possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. 

The duo has since pleaded not guilty to the charges and were released from custody.

Now, the feds have yet to release specific details of the case.

The alleged drug crime though occurred back in 2020, court documents state. 

Trial is set for Jan. 24, 2023.
