Deadlift and Dames brings out serious competition

Posted: Updated:

28 female lifters ages 16-65 took part in the Deadlift and Dames fundraising competition at Steel Athletics. Funds raised from the event will go to Harvest House. The competitors were broken up into 3 flights and had 3 attempts to lift their target weights for deadlift.

The competition was set up close to an actual lift meet. Deadlift and Dames celebrated women and encouraged women empowerment. Most of the lifters who hit the platform competed for the very first time.

Big shout out to everyone who showed up. SBD Guam, Health City, KEEPVSHING, Original Strength, Hafaloha, Salinas Beauty Works, Bongdozas, 671 Barbell and Steel Athletics for hosting the event.
