Next SNAP benefits roll out on March 1

Posted: Updated:

March benefits for recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP will not be staggered.

The Department of Public Health and Social Services reports recipients will receive their benefit on March 1.

Individuals must submit their documents right away to be processed by the end of this month.

You are also encouraged to make the food dollars stretch as there is no information if SNAP benefits for future months will be available.

SNAP recipients who have any questions or concerns can call the Bureau of Economic Security within the Division of Public Welfare at 735–7432/7433/7361.
