Governor talks cervical cancer with health officials

Friday was Day 4 on the job for the new administration. Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero and Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio joined health officials and several senators, as January has been declared Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.

Both branches announced their commitment to increasing public knowledge and ensuring efforts for early detection of cervical cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The key message is for women to get their pap testing and get tested for the Human Papillomavirus.
