San Agustin introduces bill to expand Castle Doctrine

Senator Joe San Agustin again introducing a bill that would expand the Castle Doctrine law.

Bill 14 states that a person should not be required to retreat in order to protect themselves against death or being a victim of another crime. The measure stating this would be the case whether the threats occur in a home, at work, or in a vehicle.

San Agustin introduced similar legislation during his previous term, but it never moved forward.

Additionally, he introduced Bill 15 which would appropriate nearly 300 thousand dollars from the general fund to the Guam Election Commission to cover costs for the 2018 primary and general elections.
