D. Graham Botha assumes command of Andersen AFB

Posted: Updated:

On Sunday, at the Coral Reef Fitness Center on Andersen Air Force Base, Colonel D. Graham Botha assumed command of the Guam Air National Guard's 254th Air Base Group during a change of command ceremony.

"We've all heard of Guam's strategic location at the tip of the spear, but it is the spirit of the Guam warriors within us which makes the Guam Air Guard so valuable," said the colonel. "We have shown the value of the Guam Air Guard in our deployment, in Commander Warrior, various exercises and in the support we give to AAFB and Team Andersen."

Relinquishing command was Colonel Timothy Puzan, who had been Commander since March 2016.
