Jurors returned a guilty verdict against A-Last Simiron, one of two men charged in a murder in Mangilao last year.

The verdict was reached late this afternoon.
He was found guilty of murder, manslaughter, aggravated assault as well as theft of a motor vehicle and assault.

Simiron, along with Mallo Mangof Sally, reportedly beat the victim and stole his truck, which was found crashed in Yigo.

As reported, an early morning jogger discovered Gilbert Alvarez Jr. lifeless on the side of the road.

Simiron also is one of six defendants facing trial in the murder of Edrite "Manson" Isar, killed in the Hagatna lockup.
