Guam gives Guardsman hero's sendoff as he departs for deployment

A hero's send off this week for one Guam Air National Guard airman.

Airman First Class Julian Taimanao was joined by family and fellow troops at the airport as he deployed in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel.    

He's with the 254th Red Horse Squadron working as a Water and Fuel Systems Maintenance Apprentice. Taimanao will link up with the 146th Civil Engineer Squadron from the Channel Islands Air National Guard Station in California, and deploy to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar in support of the U.S. Air Force Central Command's Area of Operations.
