A 56-year-old Dededo man has been arrested in connection to a threat of a possible active shooter reported to E911 on Wednesday morning at around 11 o’clock.  Although the threat was not specific, GPD stepped up its presence at the highly attended Chamorro Village Night Market.

Police spokesperson Paul Tapao says investigators were able to trace the phone number to a home in Dededo. Police executed a search warrant and arrested John Anthony Campos Ogo. He was taken to GPD’s headquarters in Tiyan where he later admitted to making the call.

Ogo was arrested for Terrorist Conduct; Reckless Conduct; Terrorizing; False Alarm; Crimes Against the Community and Obstructing Government Operations.  He was booked and confined.
