A search is on for a new ethics prosecutor after the court was forced to fire one of their own.

KUAM News has confirmed longtime ethics prosecutor Bruce Bradley was terminated on Monday after multiple sexual harassment complaints were made against him.

In a statement issued Tuesday night, the Judiciary of Guam confirms Bradley is no longer an employee of the court.

“The position of Ethics Prosecutor is an unclassified position, an-at will appointment accountable to the Chief Justice. We have started a search for Mr. Bradley’s replacement,” Chief Justice Katherine Maraman said. “The Ethics Committee will continue its work. The public confidence in the attorney and judiciary disciplinary systems should not be affected.”

Bradley had served in this capacity since 2007. According to his bio, the ethics prosecutor is responsible for screening, investigating, and prosecuting complaints alleging misconduct by members of the Guam Bar and Guam's judicial officers.

The Judiciary did not comment on whether the allegations of sexual harassment made against Bradley prompted his termination.
