KUAM, TRIPLE J HONOR EXCEPTIONAL YOUNG PERSON IN COMMUNITY WITH HOPE FOR TOMORROW HONOR
In every community, there are individuals and organizations that go above and beyond to make a difference for the better and Guam is no exception. Over the past few months, nominations for the KUAM Careforce Honors Hope for Tomorrow award were gathered from the community.
The nominees consist of local youth between the ages of 6 and 17 with a passion for community service whose actions have made a significant difference. A selection panel comprised of individuals from various local companies and community leaders helped determine the honoree from qualified nominations.
Notre Dame student Jason Liu, an active member of the National Honor Society, Notre Dame’s Interact Club and participant and organizer of many community oriented events including drives that have benefited Guam Animals in Need and Toy Drives for the pediatric ward at Guam Memorial Hospital, was selected as the 2014 KUAM Careforce Hope for TomorrowHonoree.
Jason will be honored in an awards presentation, Wednesday, April 30th at 4pm the Triple J Enterprises Showroom in upper Tumon. Jason will also be featured in the May episode of the KUAM News Teen reporting program “The Beat”.
The KUAM Careforce Honors aims to recognize those exceptional people whose passion, dedication, service, and relentless efforts have made our island a better place. The Hope for Tomorrow Honor is proudly supported by corporate sponsor Triple J Enterprises celebrating 30 years of customers first!
